ASP.NET 3.5 and above only

Obout.Ajax.UI Controls - App_Obout folder

App_Obout folder is required for normal operation of Obout.Ajax.UI controls.

You can find App_Obout in the same folder, where you have all of the suite examples on your machine. By default, it is in C:\oboutSuite_3.5

Simply copy App_Obout folder into the root of your application.

Every namespace of the Obout.Ajax.UI has its own subdirectory.
Currently, the library has the following namespaces:
  • ColorPicker
  • HTMLEditor
  • SpellChecker
  • TreeView
  • FileUpload
  • Poll
  • Captcha

Each folder under App_Obout corresponds to one of the above namespaces.

ColorPicker:

HTMLEditor:
  • CSS - contains style sheet files, such as quickformat.css that is used for 'Quick formatting', see SourceFile property.
  • customButtons - contains icons for custom toolbar buttons, see source code of the example.
  • DocumentsGallery - contains files and folders for documents browsing and managing, see GalleryFolders property.
  • FlashGallery - contains files and folders for flash files browsing and managing, see GalleryFolders property.
  • FlashVideoGallery - contains files and folders for flash video files browsing and managing, see GalleryFolders property.
  • icons - contains images used for the 'Icons popup' , see IconsFolder property.
  • ImageGallery - contains files and folders for images browsing and managing, see GalleryFolders property.
  • Localization - contains localization files (.resx), see Localization page.
  • MediaGallery - contains files and folders for media files browsing and managing, see GalleryFolders property.
  • Scripts - contains script files for custom toolbar buttons, see source code of the example. Also this folder contains the 'Flash Video Player' script file (swf), see FlvPlayerUrl property.
  • XML - contains XML files, such as PredefinedLinks.xml that is used for predefined links browsing, see PredefinedLinksFile property.

SpellChecker:
FileUpload:
  • Localization - contains localization files (.resx), see Localization page.
  • Scripts - This folder may contain custom Adobe Flash scripts.

Poll:
  • styles - contains style folders.

TreeView:
  • No folder for TreeView as it doesn't require any supporting files.

Captcha:
  • Sounds - contains WAV files for audio generating.
